The House... And What Lurks Within (Part 1)

In this blog, Ashton Fetcher shall be giving you a tour. Because everyone likes tours. And because he was the only one who was awake at the particular moment I thought of a house tour.

Apparently, since he's a Vegetarian, Ashton believes that for when he has a late night craving he should eat a salad. I don't know about you, but I certainly don't believe in eating salad that late. But to each Sim their own, right?... Still, he's weird.

-behind closed doors-

Hmmm, I wonder.
ohmy... goodness.

I actually meant to do that. I want you to become close to my Sims, feel the connection. I have a feeling you're feeling a bit too connected right now, though.

Anyways, off on our magical house tour!
Hello, I'm Ashton Fetcher and shall be your tour guide. (Note from Creator: I never noticed how bare the walls were... )

Outside, we have our weird window boxes that our Creator placed on our lot. We don't know why they're there, but they are sophisticated in their pointlessness.

This would be part of our drive way and a partial view of the front of the house. All of the cars are ours and the white one is mine. I received it for being a celebrity. Besides, couldn't you tell that I was rich? I mean, why else would I be wearing such a ridiculous house coat?

Our lovely fountain in the centre of the drive way. Our Creator hasn't gotten around to adding bushes and such. I suspect it may take awhile, and I won't live to see it.
By the way, that's not a bug problem. Our Creator thought it would be amusing to place multiple bug spawners on our lot.
And to the side of our house is a small pond. Again, the Creator was much amused by the 'buydebug' cheat and placed a swarm of fish in our tiny pond. It does make things easier for our daughters to learn how to fish, I must say.
Upon entering the house, you come into the foyer. To the right (where you can't see) there is a set of stairs that lead up to the second floor, which contains all of our bedrooms and three bathrooms (not useful at all when you have six Sims needing to take their shower in the morning before work or school, but don't mention that to our Creator). To the left (out of the picture, again), there is an elevator that leads to two separate parts of the house. Going down brings you into the basement, which holds miscellaneous items to gain skill that we ran out of room for on the first and second floors. If you choose to go upstairs, we have a small party room, complete with bar, and instruments (electric guitar, drums and portable piano).
You'll enter the kitchen upon going through the door between the two paintings that rest in the foyer. In here, we decided upon using a wood theme, because it seems soft, yet modern. And very easy to match. You'll also notice we don't have sink, because we have dish washer. It saves counter space, very much not utilized by us. Our butler seems to enjoy using it, for he is forever cooking odd foods at inappropriate times.

If you chose the other door in the foyer, you would be brought to the living area. It is pretty bare, but it serves our purposes.
The other side to our living area. We have two electric guitars, one of them left behind by one of our sons that moved out quite recently. Mark was quite fond of playing the piano, after school and the girls enjoyed accompanying him with the guitars and the bass.

This would be our study, it's quite nice and we enjoy having our occasional chest match or even just reading a book in quiet solitude. There are two easels, which are out of view, because we used to have multiple artists in the household before they were forced to move out. Two large windows look out into the backyard.

Here is our state of the art exercise room, completed by a stereo. Behind the door and out of view is a small bathroom, for when we start to "stink up the place."
This would be our lovely view from the backyard. My wife, Anna May had wished for a shuffle board and because we could afford it with the household funds, our Creator granted her wish. Although, there was no place to put it indoors, so she place it outside.
Our childrens' playground. I remember back when Corina was younger, she used to come home from school and run straight to the swings.
Sometimes, if the mood strikes me I'll barbecue, but it's quite rare now in my old age to catch me doing that.
Well, with all that being shown and said, I must head to the washroom for my bladder isn't quite what it used to be. Tomorrow part 2 of the house tour should be up, so please be patient.

Lights out and adios!
